Hi everyone,
So I lost my SATA cable for my secondary SSD (D Drive), I manage to boot the PC without any problem because the OS is in my M.2 SSD.
The only slight issue that I have is that a lot of shortcut which link to D Drive is becoming Blank/File Missing.

I am about to purchase SATA cable and reconnect my Secondary SSD. Do I need to do any settings or run anything? Will there be any problem?

Thanks

Solution
once you shut down and connect the cable windows will be able to update the shortcuts.
shortcuts are linked to the actual file and the icon is the one the file uses, windows cannot access the actual file so you are now getting generic icons at the shortcut. once you complete the link by installing the cable everything will go back to usual
