I'm looking for a entry-level CPU for 3D rendering, Photoshop, After Effect and Premiere and found out 2 options that fit with my budget. So what could the best option? AMD Ryzen 5 2400G or Intel Core i5 8400?
-AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, Radeon RX Vega 11
-Intel Core i5 8400, Intel UHD Graphic 630
p/s: I'm also considering AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon RX 550 graphic card :)

Solution
I am giving the answer only for 3D rendering, Photoshop, After Effect etc( not for gaming ).

You should know rendering depends on CPU
If you buy a r5 2400g than you will be benefited in gaming not in rendering. I5 8400 can be a good option which has 6 cores and 6 threads .But I would recommend you that if you can a pair gpu than you must go with Ryzen 5 2600 which ones price is similar to i5 8400 and has 6 extra threads. But remember if you dont pair a gpu with r5 2600 than your pc will not boot up.

By the way , dont pair r3 2200g and rx 550 then you will lose performance extremely in both gaming and rendering.

For a limited budget go with i5 8400

AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with integrated video Radeon Vega it's a good option, because it is a new chip that has not yet reached its full processing potential, this can be analyzed in the long run as a superior processing over the Intel Core i5 8400.
Already a system with AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, would not have all its potential CPU+GPU processing with the RX550,
it would be better to use AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with GPU RX550 for your rendering, photoshop...
good luck ;)

Go with Ryzen 5 2600, with any 3000mhz ram (8gb+), rx580 and you'll good enough to handle any gaming or work.
I'm also a graphics designer and work mostly at Photoshop and illustrator and i can say that ryzen will be better for adobe with good margin because of 12 threads while intel is better for gaming.
