So, i bought some Corsair LPX Vengeance 2400mHz and installed it onto my ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E. At first when i tried placing it onto the slots, it was very stiff and stubborn and would not go all the way. So I applied pressure on one side first and it clicked and then the other side and it snapped into place. However, when I did so there was a crinkling/crunching noise. Did i do something wrong? Is there any chance that i did damage the RAM stick or the motherboard? I am so worried that when i get my other parts and build my computer that it will not post/boot or recognise the memory.
