My zune was left outside by an idiot who didn't ask to borrow it. 2 days later I find it. Won't respond at all. I put it in a bag of rice for 2 days, nothing. Have I lost everything??

Depends on the situation. If it's not showing any signs of life at all, it's not looking good.

Outside.... was it raining/humid/snowing? Just "outside" won't inherently do damage.
