Are there motherboards that support 3000mhz ram without overclocking?

If so, can someone suggest me one, and maybe tell me what else I need to look out for compatibility wise when getting a new motherboard, i'm looking to upgrade my computer but am not very experienced with hardware?

What CPU? All CPU's that support DDR4 are JDEC certified to 2133mhz, 2400mhz, and I believe some are 2666mhz. Anything over that would technically be considered overclocking. Any motherboard with an unlocked chipset can run memory as fast as it's rated for assuming the CPU's memory controller will also cope with that speed.

With my ASUS Z270 STRIX mobo for example, my 3200mhz kit of memory will run at 3200mhz by simply turning on the XMP profile in the BIOS. It's a one click overclock essentially.

I have an i7-7700K cpu right now, if that's what you meant, with a msi h110m eco motherboard and 8 gb of 2133 mhz ram, I wanted to get 2x8 gb of 3000mhz ram so I looked it up and it seems if I want the ram to run at that speed I'll also need a new motherboard that supports the speed, I really don't know much tho and every description ive found on the internet about how this works is very confusing to me

Yeah, I think you're limited to what you've got after looking over the specs on that board. If you wanted to go with RAM as mentioned, you'd definitely need a new mobo. I assume your BIOS doesn't offer any kind of OC settings seeing it's an eco based board, correct?

I see, thank you! It does have an xmp profile but other than that, I don't know. Are there any motherboards that support the ram I wanted to get that you can recommend?

There are no shortage of other boards out there. It's really more a matter of features you're after, manufacturer preference (if any), and available budget. If your board has an XMP profile, are you using it? If not, turn it on and see if it provides any performance boost for you.

XMP profile is on, but it doesn't feel like it's making much of a difference tbh. I really don't know much about motherboards, so I don't really have a preference or know what features I should be looking for - I mainly use the computer for gaming if that's saying anything. My available budget is probably around 100€ but if there are no good motherboards at that price, I could save up
