Hello from Brazil!
I bought a Seagate Barracuda with 3TB and it's driving me nuts with a periodic noise when my PC is idle. This noise seems a seek noise and I already tried to disable APM, change SATA cable, change screws etc, but nothing worked so far.
This sound occurs every 10 seconds. Somethings less, sometimes more.
I recorded it so I can let you hear the noise. It might sound low, but it is very noticeable.

You'll notice the noise on the following seconds: 16, 20, 27, 40 and 47.
Any clue of what might be the cause?
