I just built a pc and most of the things work, however the hard drive is not detected.
It is a Toshiba P300 1TB drive and the motherboard is the ASRock Z370 Pro4.
I connected the sata cabel from the motherboard to the drive and the power cabel from the power supply to the drive.
When I power the PC on, the drive starts making a 'scratching' noise and the motherboard does not detect it.
However there is a small 2-pin connector on the bottom, though I don't know what it's meant for.
Does anyone know what this 2-pin connector is? I didn't get any cabels for it.
