High ping w/ good internet

My ping for the last day or two has been very high for all sites. While this does not really matter for browsing, it effects gaming (csgo, fortnite etc.) a lot. I am fairly sure its not because of the location of servers as this was fine a few days ago, and I am stuck. Here is the ping of google.co.uk if this helps: https://imgur.com/a/h5hTWc0

Can you see bandwidth usage in your router?
If you are maxing the bandwidth it will add latency.

Wifi can reduce your bandwidth, so if max what the wifi can handle it will do the same thing.

Was there a point in time when it was good? Does this just happen every now and again?

I'm not sure if if I can see the bandwidth usage, but I'm semi-confident that bandwidth was not the issue. This happened for 2 days in a row a few weeks ago, and then 2 days ago recently - there was no change in bandwidth.

How do you know there is nothing using bandwidth with no monitor? something like a cloud backup can use all your upload and lag your udp badly.

You can test by only having your pc on the network or modem and using the resource monitor.

Do you have a wired internet service and wired connections in the house? no powerline or weak wifi?
