Just finished my first pc build and first time overclocking. I am trying to overclock my ryzen 2200g's APU from 1,100 mhz to something a bit higher. Im using ryzen master because SOC is blocked in the BIOS on my Asrock ab350 Pro 4. I have APU voltage set to 1.3v and SOC voltage set to 1.25v. 1,200 mhz doesnt crash but when i go to 1300 mhz it crashes and i get the BSOD with the error VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE. Am i doing something wrong?

Forgot to add I am using Team Dark pro 3200mhz DDR4 that is supposedly Samsung B-Die. Ram works at 3200 but the overclock wont work at 3200 or 2133. I am running the unactivated version of windows 10 pro from Microsofts website. I have updated to bios from p4.60 to p4.90 which is the latest. I am using the APU driver version 18.7.1 which the latest.

Also i got the idea for this build from a youtube called Oztalkshw where he also overclocks a 2200g to 1600mhz but on a micro atx b350 pro4 motherboard, in his video he advises to set the gfx voltage to 1.375 volt and soc voltage to 1.375 volts. So i overclocked the APU to 1600mhz using 1.375v and it worked fine. I have since learned that 1.375 soc voltage is too much, and others have claimed to reach 1600 MHz with much less. Could I have damaged something running it like this for a day?

yes I flashed the motherboard to p4.90 which is the newest file, directly from Asrocks website. Went without a problem but the inability to overclock still persists.

i have been facing the same problem since the first day. I can oc the gpu to 1200 mhz without increasing voltage but if i go any higher , i start getting video tdr failures. I had to increase soc and apu gfx voltages to 1.2v to get a stable 1300 mhz oc but at these settings too sometimes my games freeze. Does anyone know how to fix this? i bought a b350m mobo so that i could oc the gpu but now its proving useless. :(
