Hello...

As the title suggest, my front audio ports are not working, im not really sure as to why, i checked and they are connected to the motherboard, but they just don't show up, as if they weren't connected in the first place.... anybody know what could be wrong?

Motherboard Gigabyte: B85-HD3

Alright. Where it says "ΑΝΑΛΟΓΙΚΟ -Πίσω πλαίσιο, there's a folder, in yellow. Click on it.. there should be some options, one of them is probably called like this "απενεργοποίηση ανίχνευσης μπροστινού πίνακα" IF checked, UN check it. And your Headphones should work.

Is the PC "Chassis" New ? Also as the guy above says, check if u have right drivers installed, Plug your "functional" headphones in the "MIC" jack too if it has one, see if something pops up. Go to control panel, hardware and sound, look for Realtek sound something, open it up, and check, on the right side, or in options, look around if u must, for something like "Front panel".
something like this https://images.drivereasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/realtek-hd-audio-manager-1.jpg

if it show's for exmaple, Front Panel - 1 green jack, 1 orange, and they are grayed out, it either means nothing is plugged / detected, or the case is equipped with old 3mm mono jacks. you'll figure it out eventually

Thanks for the help guys...

Well i did not have the audio panel driver at first, but instaling didn't really make a difference, the front jacks show up but when i plug the headphones its stil greyed out, when i was installing the driver i heard a small pop in my headphones which means that the jacks ARE connected, the question is, why is it not working, is there a way to force the audio to ouput to the jack?

Wow, thanks alot, it works, the sound quality kinda sucks (so much for the $100 headset lmao)
So my guess is that the front jacks are terrible and the program can't detect whether i inserted my headset, therefore i have to set it so the jack is always active and never off, right?

Thank you everyone for the help, im sorry the program was on Greek, i prefer having everything on English but my summer house computer is on Greek and i haven't been bothered to change it, sorry again and thanks!
