For some reason, after installing Intel RST to unlock my 3TB HDD, the pc gets stuck at Starting Windows (i have WIndows 7). After going in the BIOS and disabling hyperthreading, the pc boots up just fine. I uninstalled the drivers, and I could run hyperthreading just fine. What the hell is this?

Specs:
HP Z400
Intel Xeon L5640 @2.27
16 GB DDR3 @1066 mHz
GTX 950 Xtreme Edition
Hitachi 3TB HDD
WD Barracuda 160 GB (OS)

Solution
What do you mean by "unlock my 3TB HDD"?
To access all 3TB of storage, the drive has to be partitioned in GPT. That's all. No need to install anything.
