Hello.
i recently built a new sistem with this specs:
GPU: Zotac Nvidia geforce GTX 1080ti AMP! Extreme
CPU: Intel core i5 8600k liquidcooled 4.1ghz
RAM: 2x4gb Corsair DDR4 3000mhz

  • SSD1: 500gb Crucial CT500mx
    SSD2: 240gb Kingston SUV400S37240G
    MOBO: GIGABYTE Z370P D3
    PSU: Corsair 650M
    OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
when i was trying to game on this computer everything seem right but than i saw the first crash on pubg.I was thinking it was a game problem because my fps was most of the time on 144. I saw more and more crashes on a lot of games. than i started to look at the forums and tried to put my power limit on 120% in msi afterburner and that fixed the problem of crashing. Than i started to play some other games like far cry 5 and battlefield 1. In far cry 5 my fps average was 125 fps on ultra on 1080p what seemed fine for me. But than i saw stuttering on the benchmark and on the gameplay. Than i started playing bf1 and game ran pretty ok. bf1 was working between 160-120fps on ultra. I was getting some lag spikes ond drops to 90fps and go back up in a sec. When i turned on DX12 everything changed to worse. I had massive stutering so i turned it back off. one time when playing normal on bf1 i had a crash and the message saying DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. i watched the yt how to fix it and i think it helped. Can someone please help me fix this issue.
    Thank you for your help.

Hey bro, sorry for the late reply. This is exactly TDR issue and it is manufactory fault. You can check it on system 'Event Viewer' every time when game crashed(You can google for the detail processes). The way to solve it is to turn down the core speed a bit(whether use MSI afterburner or something else). Also, there is a easy way to make it stable is to use 'Debug mode' inside the NVIDIA control panel. It sets the core speed of GPU to official card's speed(decrease performance), Those are the explanation of issue and possible solutions.
Here's my case.
I've never heard of this until I owned Zotac 1080TI AMP! Extreme. It really hurts. I bought Zotac in June and it started crashing in July. I've been crazy during that period which I...

Did you clean install the OS with the new build? Or is this an OS install from an older system?

Try a full GPU driver removal with DDU in safemode, then a reinstallation:
https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Unless it's not a clean OS install, in which case I'd start with that.

Which PSU do you have, specifically?

Are you monitoring temperatures?

I did a clean install of win 10 from a sub on which was Windows downloaded 1 day earlier.
I got my computer to the service and let's see what they will tell.

I've never heard of this until I owned Zotac 1080TI AMP! Extreme. It really hurts. I bought Zotac in June and it started crashing in July. I've been crazy during that period which I couldn't find any solution from both supports and retail stores. I love playing PUBG but it crashed 3-4 times in one single! match!!! The barrier of winning was my GPU rather than players. I've wasted one month on finding solutions and getting helps since I'm not native English speaker. I got solutions almost all by myself. There wasn't any correct solution online for that case even any explanation, which might be caused by insufficient users. I got a RMA after I found that issue. However, the brand new one had the exactly the same issue. This time I gonna request for credit refund.
