Modem is becoming hot

SMPS corsair vs450 RAM 8gb ddr3
Modem beetle which is becoming hot and Internet speed coming down to almost zero. The service personnel are changed the modem but of no avail. Can anyone help me please.

ISP-supplied routers & modems are typically cheap & low quality so have a tendency to get too hot which in turn affects performance.

I would seriously consider buying a third-party one that's of a higher quality - look at the ones that can be fastened to a wall, that helps to keep them much cooler compared to those which just sit on a desk.
