So I got this new H61 mobo at newegg (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1B4-00NA-00R20) And it's a real pain in the ass to find the BIOS update for it..If you guys could help me it would be great..

Here is all I know about the motherboard:

When my PC is launched, it shows American Megatrends and there is a line saying this (11/13/2017)ZX-H61CM Ver:1.2

Here is a screenshot of my msinfo32: https://imgur.com/a/njLhAFh

And the BIOS language is in English...

Main question: Why do you think you need a BIOS update? The current BIOS has a 2017 date, which is relatively recent considering that the H61 chipset is around 10 years old!

BIOS updates fall into the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it category".
A BIOS should only be updated to correct a known error(will be in the release notes for the BIOS update), or to gain additional functionality, such as support for a new CPU.

Ram support is a valid reason to update the BIOS. However, if there is not an available update, or IT DOESN'T SPECIFICALLY MENTION that ram issues are addressed in the release notes, you may be reduced to getting ram that already works with the motherboard. On the Newegg product page you linked, under the warranty and support tab there is contact info for the manufacturer.

Did you get a manual and QVL ram list with your motherboard? If so, is your specific ram listed in the QVL?
Or is your motherboard listed as supported by the ram manufacturer?
