Hi there,

First of all, that's my first time here as a member but not first as a reader, anyway, hope you give me some light.

Currently i have an EVGA GTX 970 SC, almost 4 years with this card, the noisy coil whiny thing. I'm considering upgrading my GPU as well i just upgraded my cpu to Ryzen 5 2600 with 2x8 Gb 3000 Mhz rams.

I play at 1080p but as long as the gpu allows me, i love to crank up the graphic settings; im not a frame freak. All i want is stable frame rates with the best looking options. Current gen. games are quite heavy on my 970 and it is 4 years old as i mentioned.

I was just about to buy 1070 Ti but started to think about 1080. Pricing is a major factor here ofcourse considering i live in a country with fu.ked up economy...

Right now the MSI 1070 Ti Gaming costs 3066 units and MSI 1080 Armor OC costs 3286 units. With unit i mean our currency... As our economy going worse by everyday, this card will cost more probably. And also wont come down when new nVidia chips released.

So my question is between this two options on which one i get the most for my money?

1070ti has ball bearing fans, i dont know 1080.

Thanks in advance.

The difference in both price and performance between 1070ti and 1080 is small.
On 1080p, I doubt that you will see the real difference between those 2.
I would also look around first like, perhaps you can find really 1080 with the price of 1070ti or even of 1070.
e.g. Here where I live, KFA2 GTX1080 EXOC cost more or less the same as ASUS 1070 Strix OC Active.

I was considering gtx 1080 only because of the minor price difference. This will be my gpu for the next 3 years at least. Im not sure gtx 1070 will hold up for this long?
