I recently bough the aorus x470 gaming 5 mb,16 gb of gskills ram,ryzen 5 2600x,525 ssd,rx 580 and 650 psu

I assembled everything and it was working well since i installed windows and updated the motherboards bios.
The problems started when i saw that i had only 7.9 gb Usable out of my 16.
So i tried all the slots and respected my user manual but nothing worked.
So i saw online that enabling xmp from the bios could help but now i cant boot my computer anymore and the motherboard shows a bright red light on cpu.
What could be the problem?

Solution
It's possibly something might not have been seated correctly and is now an issue. There's also the possibility of a configuration issue with the mb, in which case you could try pulling resetting it(disconnect power cable, remove CMOS battery, wait at least 30 sec, re-install it & then try powering on again)
