Why is my SSD so slow?

I've been having some issues with my computer running extremily slow especially when attempting to read and write data. After ruling out that the RAM was the issue I did some S.M.A.R.T tests on my SSD (Sandisk SSD Plus).

The overall test results reported as good however when researching the tests on Google I'm unsure if this is actually the case.

At the moment I'm just really fishing for answers but as there's no threshold values I wanted to make sure the SSD isn't the problem. From what I've read the results for test ID's 5, 169, 168 and 187 are not normal.

Solution
Normally bios's wouldnt have anything to do with this. Unless it did not include an ACHI profile or something similar with interface performance.

It sounds like a very specific issue too your mobo.

The results I posted in this thread were from the Extended test included in the SanDisk SSD management software. I'll run a test using the software you reccomended though (if the installer ever opens).

Although I didn't recieve any replies if anyone happens to stumble upon this thread I needed to update my BIOS as it was almost 5 years out of date. Seems to have fixed the issues I was having.
