seagate free agent go flex 1To not showing in disk management

Hello everyone,
i have an external HDD seagate free agent go flex 1 To, my problem is that when i plug my HDD into my computer(im using windows 10) it doesn't appear anywhere not in "computer" and not in the "disk management', otherwise when i plug it in another computer (im using windows 7 on this one) the HDD works just fine, i tried many things (formatting the HDD ... etc) to make it work on my PC but nothing seems to work, can you guys help me please.

Hello devilx3600, the Go Flex is not compatible with Windows 10. Sorry for that.

is it compatible with Windows 8.1?
and i have try to plug it in many laptops too but same problem even when the laptop OS is Windows 7. but for now i just want to make it work on my PC (desktop PC).

devilx3600, you can try 8.1 and see how it goes but below are the recommended and supported operating systems.

• Windows® 7, Windows Vista®, Windows® XP (32-bit & 64-bit) operating system or
• Operating system Mac OS X 10.4.6 Tiger or higher, 10.5 Leopard or 10.6 Snow Leopard (the 32-bit kernel).
* Reformatting may be required for Mac.

I am confused...does the drive work in other computers with Windows 7?

it works perfectly in desktop computers with Windows 7, and it didn't worked in all the laptops i tried to connect the HDD with. and right now im using desktop computer with Windows 10.
i'll try to install Window 8.1 and i'll tell you the result.

the HDD still wont work even after i installed win 7. i even updated the bios but still not working, any other solutions please?

devilx3600, is the drive present in the BIOS or disk management? You could try running Seatools for Windows if it appears in the BIOS. If it does not it wont work. Now if this does not provide results, the disk may be bad. You may still contact support if need be.
