Specs:

GTX 1070

Intel icore i5 6600k

8gb DDR4

BF150-GAMING M3 (motherboard)

2 ssd's

For the past couple of years my pc has been under performing heavily. For example, on bf1 i get about 30-40 fps on everything set to low , and about 10-15 on high. Similar results on other games as well. I suspected it's the bios but I'm to in-experienced with the bios to mess with it.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Here are the results:

CPU running clock speed: 3,599.7Mhz
CPU temperature: 56 Celsius
GPU clock speed: 1,531.0Mhz
GPU temperature: 62 Celsius
GPU fan speed: 1.645Mhz
Ram size: 8gb DDR4
Ram speed: 1064.0Mhz

I was unable to take a picture for some reason, so I've listed the required information themselves, sorry if I'm missing anything.

I did this and got some adware removed, but no performance gain unfortunately. Also checked task manager and didn't find anything suspicious.

I now remember that i did at one point re-install windows after getting my new motherboard, but the problem still occurs :(
I had windows 10 before as well originally.

This is just a redundancy, but have you checked your PC's power options? Mine has had similar symptoms due to it being put in low-power mode, so it's worth a check :) I would highly recommend reading into/updating your motherboard's drivers/BIOS, it's not as difficult as you may think.

Well, MSI afterburner can cause issues... I've read of users solving issues such as your after removing Aferburner. http://bit.do/msi-afterburner-known-issues

From the images you took from Afterburner.. your hardware seems to be working normally and suddenly flatline!.. Read some pages on MSI Afterburner issues and after that you may agree you should disable the app at least to see if it makes a difference.

1. Before you disable Aferburner, take a HWiNFO Sensor Report > use the blue arrows Expand icon > this will put every page of the report on the same display full screen > Press the Print Screen key > Open a Paint file > Paste the screen capture > upload the image to your favorite image sharing website, and post the link or image here.

2. Next disable Afterburner from Task Manager > Startup tab.. > restart the computer if necessary for the app to be disabled >

3. Take the second HWiNFO Sensor report after the Restart

I removed afterburner but nothing really happened. I do have 2 photos of HWiNFO.

First picture is information when there is no game running: https://ibb.co/nrZVjJ
Second picture is with a game running: https://ibb.co/nsMnWy

what game are you running? your cpu usage is at 100%. and gpu usage is 30%. can you find out what else is also using your cpu from resource monitor?

My very same thoughts.... the CPU runs games at 100% while the GPU runs cool and collected at 27% average... the Bottlenecker says the CPU bottlenecks slightly with that GPU but those percentages say it bottlenecks alot..
