What’s a good upload speed?

Hello I am wondering if 25 mbps upload speed is enough for uses like gaming and downloading movies and videos. If not what is a good upload speed.

Games use extremely little bandwidth. The vast majority only need well under 1mbps both upload and download.

Downloading to some extent has a effect on the upload. The machine send messages saying "i got the data send me more". These are tiny messages, 64 bytes, so it does not use much upload bandwidth. I forget the formula to estimate when these acknowledgement messages bottleneck the download but in general a home user is not going to hit those limits.

Upload would really only be used if for example you backed files to some cloud based drive or if you did something like transmit a video stream from your house to someone else house. People that attempt to remotely access things in their house are also affected by...
