He'll there

I know for sure you can pout linex on a PS4 pro so how about a overclocking program?
I know I have to get a bigger power supply and heat is the other issues but don't worry about that.

I've done a bit of looking into this but found nothing really helpful. Maybe some out there has tried it before but not sure.

Thanks guys

Do you mean having it overclocked while running linux, or having it overclocked while running PS4 games?

If it's the latter, my best guess is that you'd have to start hex editing the BIOS/FW. It's also possible that the system enforces some sort of digital signature for the FW, which would likely make this impossible.

Edit: based on this FAQ, custom FW is basically impossible meaning it's effectively impossible to overclock:

Not possible, AFAIK.

Realistically, a console (be it PS4, XB etc) are tweaked to about their max stable for a given chip, their respective cooling and power solutions.
Any theoretical overclock would be negligible, and unlikely to net any noticeable performance gains without a complete overhaul of the interior for cooling and power delivery.

Yes and no. Assuming you could get a custom BIOS/firmware, it's theoretically possible - then you either throttle back down, or hard crash/shut down etc, making it an effective no.

While there are some attempts at custom firmware in existence for a PS4, they're exceptionally bugged at best (and bricking systems at worst).

IIRC, any mod like that also removes the ability for online play, or PS4 store access etc - rendering it pretty useless as a PS4, even if you could theoretically do it.
