Built a brand new computer HOWEVER youtube quality is grainy?!

Hello, so i've build a brand new computer and it works like a charm for gaming. However whenever i watch youtube videos at 1080p it feels like im watching 460p? The image is very grainy and not HD quality.

I have updated all the Drivers via NVIDIA Geforce, done windows updates and also updated my motherboard bios.

I'm thinking it could possibly be the resolution of my screen because Im using a HDMI cable thats connecting to my computer via the graphics card into the monitor @ 1920x1080. Should I consider using the DIVI-D port?

Anyone with more knowledge/experience have an idea?

did you select 1080 on the you tube screen?
Also go to settings for Your internet and enable gpu for viewing.

Dvi is for higher Hz and 4k resolution. Make sure your monitor is set to 1080p. Also enable 1080 in you tube settings. And enable gpu hardware for video internet in settings. And resolution online videos also need good internet speeds. What are you downloading at?

Hi, yes I manually enable 1080p on the youtube video. I checked and all the gpu hardware is enabled for google chrome browser. My internet speed is pretty decent @ 75mbps. When i was using my older computer i didnt have this problem but in my new PC I am so that's where im thinking either something isnt updated or its hardware?

Is it a new monitor? Do your games look grainy? what monitor do you have? Go in to nvidia control panel and under display make sure it is set at 1080 and at your proper hz.
