Ps4 and laptop or pc

I am actually new in gaming and want to buy a decent system. I am now confused between a ps4 and laptop(for college) or just a pc.
I am getting a decent pc for around 65k pkr or 550 dollars or a ps4 and laptop for around 600 dollars. Any suggestion by you guys would be great.

Since portability is an issue yet you seem to prefer an actual desktop, I'd suggest going with a mini-ITX build. At lease then it's compact and not too much of a hassle to move it around.

Hi, what specs does the pc have? For $550 it should be a very good medium range build. Since you want it for college, and also for gaming, I recommend the pc over the laptop. They DO sell gaming laptops, but I'm skeptical of them because a mouse is one of the big perks of gaming on pc (and skeptical for other reasons, too, like the limitations of laptop hardware).

Core i5 6600 box
Gigabyte B150M D3H box
8GB ddr4 ram
600w PSU
1TB hard
Casecom case
R9 290x tri x edition

I am interested in buying a PC but the problem is with portability. I may need a portable device later.
