Now that i got 8 more gigs of ram and a directx 12 gpu i can run games like DS3 or The Crew BUT they need SP1. So i do as any normal person would. I google it. First off i start the win updater. It does not work and gives me an error code 800F0A13. I google that and find out that the error happens when i have missing stuff from my pc. I find this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/missing-files-error-code-800f0a13-when-trying-to/400e1d92-056d-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5 and i do what the top answer says (one from some Azeeez guy). All of those 3 methods didn't work. Trying to manually install doesn't work either. The problems with all checks and stuff is that they find no problems. System file checker finds nothing, system update readiness finishes installing a hotfix but doesn't fix anything and the system repair says it has nothing to repair. I also found something saying that i need some SafeCentral app but i googled it and it costs like $20, don't even know if that's the thing cause Microsofts link for the thing they mentioned doesn't work. I know my copy of win 7 is legit but i don't have the disc anymore. My dad installed it on this PC in 2009 and put the disc somewhere and forgot about it so repairing it through the CD drive isn't possible. Is there any other way to make this work without needing the CD or installing a new win like 10 or 8.1. I mean i do think of it but its such a drag to install all the drivers again. But if it comes to that i guess ill do it.

Solution
When your dad installed windows, he would of typed in a key.
You can get this key by downloading a small tool.
Magic jelly bean.
https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

Download and run MJB. it will list your windows key and a few other software keys.
Copy and print out your keys.
Use the key MJB found to download windows7 ISO and choose to burn a CD or 4gig or larger flash drive.
From there you can do a repair install or a fresh install.
