Hello everyone! So I built my pc about a year ago, and everything was fine. The system is:
Ryzen 5 1600
Motherboard AB350 Gaming 3
8Gb DDR4 memory 2400Mhz
1Tb HDD Western Digital
MSI RX 580 8Gb
Up until yesterday, I was using my pc as usual. I got new ram at a decent price (2x8Gb DDR4 3000Mhz) and replaced the old stick, the pc booted up and I could play and work without any issues. However, I decided to update my GPU drivers and after rebooting, the pc couldn't boot anymore.
I tried the new RAM sticks in two different systems and they worked, also tried the GPU on those systems and they work as well. I asked for a friend to borrow one of his GPUs and tried on my system, and it works (It's a Zotac 760).
I've deleted drivers using AMD cleanup and DDU, reinstalled drivers, tried booting on minimal settings (1 stick of RAM, CPU and GPU) but nothing gets me pass POST with the RX580. The motherboard is also showing the LED that indicates that the VGA has an error.
So I guess my question is, could it be a faulty motherboard? (I've also tested all PCI lanes) Or it seems like a faulty GPU?
Thanks for all the help!
