Now we got this yesterday after waiting forever for it because the card was on back order and he doesnt want to send it back.

Another friend has bought the same pc but switched the cpu to a i7-8700 12mb 3.2ghz.

since one changed cpu and the other changed gpu i would think the difference would be very little with benchmarks, but naww

playing a simple game like rocket league he only is getting like 80 fps while the other who is getting max at 250.

i have gtx 760 with an i73770 3.4ghz and im getting around 130fps so something is wrong and i dont know how to help him. tech support from cyberpower didnt help him any.

update: he tried backing up his files and reinstalling windows 10 and still same results.

Solution
Recreate the bootable installer for Windows 10 using Windows Media Creation Tool and reinstall your OS. Then use the latest drivers found off Nvidia's support site to install your GPU drivers. Given that you're on a Z370 board with an unlocked K processor part, go into BIOS and see if your ram's are X.M.P enabled.

I'm not a fan of Cyberpower machines, mind you. Too many things that seem like they cut corners.
