What settings on the router should I change on my router to effect the Ethernet cable that's connected to my PlayStation 4? I have frontier FiOS 300/300 Mbps and my router is
Netgear R6250 currently have upstream enabled for qos and on qos priority list i only got lan port 2 set on highest. I have upnp disabled , and my ps4 on dmz reason upnp disabled because I read that it would interfere with dmz being enabled Nat filtering secured also please any tips would help I only have two devices connected my phone and my ps4 and when playing online I turn my phone WiFi off so I won't lag

Solution
QOS throttles the low priority connections, but won't shut them off, so you are always SHARING even though you are given priority. Maybe over expectation?
did your fios come with a router/modem or just a modem? if you have two routers plugged into each other port forwarding will be difficult.

Don't run any qdisc QoS. not much can handle > 100Mbs. Run a speedtest to see if you lost a lot of your bandwidth from a wired connection. only one qdisc really helps latency, fq_codel. ipfire can handle those speeds, $250-400+ router. I don't think you will need QoS though.

queue discipline. it's cpu intensive so it bottlenecks routers around 100Mbs.

Are you getting lag with a 300Mbs connection? gaming only uses around 300Kbs.
