I have 2 hard drives in my computer.
The old hard drive contains my old OS and I installed new OS. now my problem is the newly installed OS went to the 2nd hard drive and every time I start my PC, the old OS opens.

I want to remove the old OS and use the new one..

Solution
inickace, you need to go to the BIOS and set the correct boot priority. Also, open disk management, delete the unwanted partition and modify the existing partition to add that space into it or you can create it as a new one.

I would physically UNPLUG the old hard drive wires first and see if the PC boots up correctly. It's very possible that the new boot.ini file installed itself in the old hard drive. If it boots up with the old drive unplugged, turn the PC off, reconnect the old hard drives and follow seagate_surfer advice.
