Hi. I am quite new to watercooling. The only experience i have with it is deassembling my h220-X for maintenance.

I am planning on upgrading my system and doing a full watercooled loop for it. My question is what would it cost approximately. i would be cooling;

i7 8700k
2x 1070 asus strix

I also want to do it correct the first time, so hardline tubing, nice reservoir cilinder etc.

Any oher advise is welcome too.

What case do you have and how do you want to run your loop? Do you single loop for the whole system or split up? Do you want add fan controls or just split it up using splitters and control via the mobo?
Anyway the basics things you would need ill give you the price for ek parts since I know them but there many other manufacturers:
Cpu Waterblock: 80$
GPU waterblock : 157$ each
Pump and reservoir: it is very flexible but my recommendation is reservoir + D5 combo would cost 160$
Rads: depends on your case but I would recommend for your hardware 2 240 or 240 and 360 will cost 68$ and 88$ respectively
Tubings for stater I would recommend you will get 5-6 packs each pack cost 8-9$
Fittings I would recommend getting bit extra you will need for loop I described 14 fittings I would recommend getting 16+ which would cost will depend on the size of the tubing but you can get for around 100-120$ maybe less, also you will need draining point so add ball valve and I would recommend getting 4 90 degrees fittings will cost 53$ for the 5
Coolant 2 bottles will be enough 10$ each
Fans depends what you choose will most likely cost 20-25$ for the good ones. Now add stuff like splitters silicone cord to bend the tubes tools like heat gun and saw or tube cutting tools sand paper, will few dozen of bucks. Again it is just my simple recommended loop the thing is it custom you can what ever loop you like and put whatever parts you want you can look for other parts and use different manufacturers parts just for sake of simplicity I looked at 1 manufacturer. I hope it helps this is some basic I would gladly help you through.

I would say so for nice loop again for starter it would be great you can also upgrade in the future and mod your system even more. but again what gavI e are the basics and necessities for your loop to work it will still look great but the thing is water cooling is custom and you can go far far places, but I would recommend start with simple getting the feel for it and then maybe experiment more. by the way try to plan how you would build your loop and system and then buy what you need you might need extenders and other angle fittings if you work in some tight spaces.
