Heya!

I recently bought a new upgrading pack containing:
Intel Core i7 8700 Processor
ASUS ROG Strix B360-F Gaming
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16GB
Samsung PM981 SSD 256GB M.2

Issues began to show up when a week after the build had worked the audio jack sticks wouldnt pick up my headset, turns out whatever drivers i installed they simply wouldnt pick up the headphones, tried different pairs, and different drivers, front and back jack sticks as well.
Then the computer began to not show down properly, it simply just says on. When press the turn off button in Windows, the signal to the monitors turn off, but you can still see al the fans spinning and the harddrives on.
Then i've had the system frezze on me a few times as well after all these other things occurred.

Do you think its a faulty mobo? Anyone got any fixes for the things listed above, and what you would do?

Any answers would help! Cheers guys!

1. I did a clean install on SSD.
2. I installed all newest drivers from asus' website, so chipset, realtek audio, lan ect. I installed newest bios drivers aswell, didnt seem to work either.
3. Im using a EVGA SuperNOVA 550w G2 with a 1070TI strix.

Two things left to try. First, use one RAM stick, then use the other RAM stick. Any change in the PC's issues? This may give you a clue that it's a RAM issue. Second, is to download a Linux OS, such as MINT, on to a USB thumb drive and boot into Linux. The PC will run slower, because you're running from a thumb drive. Is the PC stable? Does it shut down correctly? This may indicate if the SSD is the issue. If you still have problems after this, then you likely have a mobo problem.

I actually got it working earlier today, i took the build completly apart and put in my old mobo and CPU just to see if it was somehow my PSU or something. When i assempled the build outside of the case with a different cpu cooler it somehow worked again, and there were no issues with crashes or peripherals not being recognized. When i took the build apart the screws on the backmount on my hyper 212 were kinda loose, Not sure if it was my CPU not getting enough pressure from CPU cooler and it somehow made my system unstable?
Its just one of those times where taking the build apart and assembling it again somehow magically fixes it lol.

I was thinking about installing Linux and seeing if the system would work, but i think its working like intended now. And i did run memtest without any errors for 3 hours. Hopefully the build is stable now.
Thanks alot for the imputs though, really means alot ^-^
