Hey guys, a little help with upgrading my PC? currently running a GTX 970 with a i7-4790k, 16 GB 1600 mhz DDR3 RAM. Would like to get more performance out of my PC for streaming, knowing somewhat about computers, should I upgrade my GPU to a 1070ti or 1080? I realized when I stream it feels like my GPU is really outdated to keep up with high FPS while streaming, games are always choppy while streaming, would my GPU be the component to upgrade? would anyone suggest getting a new mobo, ram, processor etc? (Basically a fresh new build lol) or would just upgrading my GPU do the trick?

Heres a good build.

Solution
Streaming puts a load on your CPU too which means it has even less time to dedicate to running the game. So swapping out for a CPU with more cores or offloading the actual job of streaming to a different device will provide the improvement you are looking for.
