Is the ram i ordered compatible with my motherboard?

Solution
Funny thing about the QVL and ram. The exact same IC chips are used in multiple models, brands etc there's only a few actual ram OEMs like Samsung or SkHynix or Micron. So the answer is yes, your ram has been tested and it's on the QVL, it's just under another brand name and model. Also take models into consideration. The model number will change with something as simple as color. So blue ram might have been tested but not the red. As if color makes a difference.

With half a dozen OEMs, a hundred different vendors, a thousand different models, that'd mean to test every configuration would mean a QVL a thousand pages long containing 10 million different results and taking the better part of several years to complete. For every single...

That RAM is not listed on the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for that motherboard or the AM4 platform.
That RAM is optimized for the Intel platform.
According to AMD any RAM running above 2666MHz is considered overclocked RAM. So if you buy faster RAM is not guaranteed that it will work at that speed unless you get RAM from the QVL, which has been tested to work on that motherboard.
That RAM kit might work at the advertised speed or 2666MHz or 2400MHz or might not since has not been tested on that motherboard by neither motherboard or RAM manufacturers.

The corsair should still be able to run, but 2933 will most likely be needed as AMD doesn't have a proper divider to set to 3000. Also update the BIOS as later versions of agesa have broader memory support.

i dont know how to update the bios, so if you could give me like a program or something i need to do that, that would be nice.

We sometimes overlook things, but it says that on the description.
"Designed for great looks. Compatibility : Intel 100 Series,Intel 200 Series,Intel 300 Series,Intel X299"
The Corsair 3200MHz I got (see signature below) was not listed and it works @ 3000MHz, so you never know.

For every single motherboard in Asus lineup.

That's not going to happen. So asus will test a select few more popular brands and a few different models of several popular speeds. If your particular model is not on the QVL it absolutely does not mean it will not work, it just means it hadn't been tested, or other speeds were so was redundant.

QVL is Qualified Vendor List. Not ram test gospel.
