Ive exhausted my knowledge, cant find much online.. I was running this game a little slow, so i decided to buy a GPU to play it smoothly.. Now all my games run way slower. Everything runs great. The on board DVI slot is disabled, I tried using it. Threads ive seen said check BIOS, nothing. Check CCC, nothing.. Reinstall Drivers, nothing. Its not overheating. FPS is just garbage compared to without it.. Startup and opening programs is smoother, just slows down my games.. It says Dual graphics, but I cant find any way to disable it. My belief is that is the issue, idk.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Specs-
AMD A7BM-E Motherboard
AMD A8 6600k APU 4-core 3.9Ghz w/ Radeon HD 8570D
8gb DDR3 Ram
GPU- Radeon R5 220

Solution
The 8570d is about 4x better than the r5 220 (rebranded 5450). You downgraded significantly. Just because it's a dedicated gpu doesn't mean it's better than an igpu. Return it if you can. If you can't, you still need to take it out. What's your budget?

I was afraid of this, but it is not a very graphic intense game. I am limited to a single slot GPU, because my good one obstructs my WIFI slot, which I need at the house im staying at. No Ethernet access. I assumed adding a dedicated card would work with the APU. It does say it has dual graphics, but I guess only certain graphics cards are compatible with this feature.. Anyone have a recommendation on a decent GPU for this application?
Play Legends of Aria (UO2) Thank you
