You’re joking, right? That doesn’t explain anything. The PSU isn’t even on that list...

why are you asking about my location and stores
To ensure compatibility with your country’s electricity. If brownouts are frequent a better PSU with high hold up time would be advised. Also to assist finding a better power supply that isn’t on your list, since 95% of the time there’s a much better psu for the same price as the S12ii.

- Cooler Master MWE 500 PSU 80 Plus: No information

- Cooler Master B600 Ver.2 PSU: http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12284

- SeaSonic S12II Bronze 520W 80 PLUS Certified PSU: https://ru.gecid.com/power/seasonic_m12ii-520_bronze_evo_edition_ss-520gm2_2015/?s=1

Actually i'm building up a gaming pc, first of all was thinking of Cooler Master MWE 500 PSU 80 Plus because my budget is restricted but have found some others for almost same price or higher but not too much, that's why i'm asking about rating of all these power supplies.

My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XkMXnH

I'm just asking about rating some of the power supplies, why are you asking about my location and stores?? yon can check my pc build from the link i sent in previous reply, however, those power supplies are the most budget available ones in my country :) :) you can check the amount of wattage expected to be consumed with the current build from the same link i just sent before. :) :) just rate those please and no problem to mention some you see they are good ones :) :)

The only one worth buying on the list is the Seasonic S12II, the others are junk.

The S12II is a solid unit, older technology, but still solid.

Actually its the most expensive one from those i mentioned here in my country :D , me thinking of getting CM MWE 500 cuz its the cheapest one, but if you could give more help, can you rate all those power supplies from the highest recommended to lowest recommended ??

The Seasonic is the only one worth buying period.

All of the others are complete garbage.

If you want to, but you are risking your system. (How's that budget going to look when the cheap PSU starts frying your parts?)

It's your money to waste.

It's for the most part dumpster fire quality.

No more tier list for psu on tomshardware but it still doesn't change the fact that cheap and power supply do not mix well, if its decent quality it wouldn't be the bad but the seasonic is still the better quality power supply. But you could also Google each one and find plenty of reviews on each one to determine which you want to buy but it seems like your already dead set on cheapest you can get

He will be back when that PSU cooks his machine. ;)

From a tom's previous thread its said CM MWE 500 is a decent quality one NOT a garbage, but just forget that point if you want to, all i know about junk PSUs those built-in ones, so you must install a separate one from the case, the 500W as a consumption is more than enough for my current build, but let me ask you how it will fry my parts?? what kind of problem expected to fry out my system ??

It's one the lowest quality garbage PSU made, one step above burn down your house quality. (Barely)

Well, i'm not that guy that looks for garbage parts to save budget, I'm also need good quality, but from all your responses till now you're just saying MWE 500 is poor quality, garbage, junk, can fry out the system...etc, you are just repeating these words, i need an explanation for what you're saying?

Is it junk? ok but why? it is low quality then its ok but why? can blow up the whole system, how? can you explain your perspective please?

same platform, https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Antec/HCG-520/

- Gigabyte PB500 500W 80 Plus Bronze PSU https://ru.gecid.com/power/gigabyte_gp-pb500/?s=1

- Cougar VTE500 500W 80 Plus Bronze PSU: no information

- Cougar VTX500 500W 80 Plus Bronze PSU https://www.computerbase.de/2017-07/cooler-master-cougar-xfx-zalman-netzteil-test/5/

What to look for - A full set of protections, stable voltages, high hold up time, quality components, soldering, and well designed, quiet and reliable fan. None of these PSUs have all these features.
Cougar VTX is probably the best there.

It actually is.

It's an Elite....

They do however have another series Extreme Power, and that just as bad. (Newer version of the Elite series)

Well, thank you so much for this nice info, i will be more appreciated if you helped me out with just 1 more help again:

I have checked some reviews about the best power supplies and i think those 2 are good ones:

- Cougar VTX500 500W 80 Plus Bronze
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817553032

- SeaSonic S12II Bronze 520W 80 PLUS Certified PSU
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094

If we checked out the specifications for each one, the VTX500 seems to have more protection, more quieter fan, more efficiency than the Seasonic one, can't find any review for how much hold up time for both, but i think its not much that important thing to worry about, other features almost the same for both ... so my last question about this discussion: Cougar VTX500 is better way to go with to handle my current build mentioned before??

Hmmmmm probably the VTX is better way to go :/ more protection is required than the fan, a fan failure vs the whole system failure :D :D a cheap 120mm fan change may not be a problem for me if i'm correct about what i'm saying or it needs a special fan to be installed.

Anyways just 1 more thing to ask about, lets back again to the CM one and i'm so sorry for backing to it but just to get some knowledge, from some reviews i read before, let's compare between the CM one and seasonic. they are almost same efficiency, same protection points except for the UVP protection, instead, CM one has a OTP protection which you referred before its more important and required than the UVP protection, hold up time for CM is 14-16ms is also not bad i think.

So again: what is your last recommendation?
