Google working on my institute’s wifi without logging into firewall, Can I access the whole web without login?

I can’t access any webpages other than Google (google images works). Accessing any other website requires login on my institute’s firewall. Only my device (laptop) is able to access google, other devices connected to the same network are not even able to access Google without login.

Not likely that is one of the main uses of a firewall. It is designed to prevent access that is not authorized. There maybe some technical reason something like google works...like the authorization server is hosted on google. It is much more likely it is some kind of error that will be fixed by a change in the configuration or maybe a patch to the software.
