overclocking/bios question reseting bios before flash

hi everyone, I have a asrock fatal1ty ab350 gaming k4 motherboard. the cpu which is a ryzen 3 1200 is currently overclocked to 3.9ghz anyways I want to flash the bios, and I hear that before flashing the bios you should reset the bios. can I reset the bios from within the bios? do I have to clear the cmos, or is a reset good enough?

Yes all Bios's have the option to load defaults, as said above. The option for it is usually in the exit menu.

Load default settings again after flashing bios to make sure the new firmware settings are entered into cmos.
