This mobo has a q8300 in it and everything plugged in properly, we doublechecked. Psu is 280w but my concern is the ram? Its got 2x2gb ddr3 but idk how to check the frequency of it. What could it be? The first time we booted the mobo it made a constant beep not shutting off until we shut off the power. What could it be?

Lastly, we bought an acer board MG43M we put ram, 2x2 gb and did all the possible combinations with slots using single ram stick and both, it had an q8300 cooler on it ofc and wanted to test without gpu for then. Board didn't work and we gave up. No post whatsoever.

Now we thought it might've been the board so my mate wants to order a new board, Asus P5G41T-M LX3.
Would the system be compatible with Q8300; 2 x 2GB ram?
I am so sure it is, but for the last mobo it was the same thing, I was just too sure and ended up not working, thats why I am asking you guys.
About the beepcode of the old mobo, it was constant beep never stopping (which google search told me it was ram problem).

Thanks for your time.
