Hi All,

I have been experiencing a weird issue for the last roughly 2-3 weeks with my laptop (Dell XPS 9560). My laptop refuses to connect to my home WiFi, I get the typical "No internet, Secured" status whenever I connect. Now before you say just uninstall and re-install your wireless adapter this gets a little bit more weird (for me, maybe not for you), shortly after "connecting" my wireless shows as connected as normal, however when I attempt to run an internet search I am faced with no connectivity. In addition to this when I am at my friends or my girlfriends house it works like a charm, no connection issues with fast and consistent service. Thinking that it was some other issue to do with my surroundings, I used my mobile hotspot from my phone...worked perfectly(that is what i am using to write this).

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my wifi adapter, I have tried updating drivers, power cycling both router and laptop, in addition to clearing the IP Cache using command prompt. I read a few have wired their connection straight to the router and that helped but as this laptop has no ethernet port I don't have that option. The laptop is not even a year old yet and I don't know why it is like this.

Can anybody help me ?
