galaxy s6 edge charging port

hi guys

so i tried replacing the charging port of my galaxy s6 edge with a port from the normal s6, i have noticed it doesnt fit perfectly in the casing but it does connect to the mobo.

however it did not start charging.

my question: is it possible to swap the port from an s6 to an s6 edge?

you are asking this after doing the mod? anyway, depends on how similar the hardware between the two are. sometimes its not just the screen size that is the only difference

hahaha the device hasnt been used for a while and it wont matter if it wont work, the connectors do fit, although the charging port part looks visually different on both devices
