Hey, so this is my first time oc'ing, and I've gone with the i5 8600k. I know (from guides/internet) that most people get to 4.9/5ghz on this, but for now I'm happy with a 4.8. However, there's 2 things that worry me:
One, I didn't meddle with LLC at all, I don't know if I should or if it's necessary.
Two, I did the overclocking part with the Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility, so I can't figure out if the voltages are fine. Here's a pic https://imgur.com/Bebv1kB -- the system IS stable (at least so far, did some aida 64 and prime 95 tests as well as the intel benchmark/stress test included in the program and well some gaming and everything seems fine), but the LAST thing that I would want is to decrease the life duration of my cpu, as I've saved a loong time to afford this machine and I don't want to even think about replacements.
The worry is that, the voltage seems to go higher under load than whatever I set, "higher" as in to 1.31/2 max or so, I don't know if that's an issue or not.
PS: mobo is a asus prime z370-a.

It is not really an issue since max vcore is reported to be 1.4v. However, it does seem to be a bit high for a 4.8ghz. Really, using software to overclock is almost always exaggerate what the system really needs. Also software is not immediate when you turn on the system since it has to load in like any other program. A bios overclock is immediate on startup. As far as the Load Line Calibration goes, it seems since it on automatic, it is feeding voltage to the cpu then needed.

Here's a screenshot of mine when I was at 4.8ghz while playing Fallout 4. The highs are on the right side.
