Lagging problems when I swapped hard drives

Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion dv3 Notebook and a Dell Studio 1558.

First of all I would like to inform whoever will read this, I'm not very good in troubleshooting so I came here to ask for help obviously.

1. My Dell Studio 1558 (Windows 10 64bit, 4gb RAM, 500gb ROM, 1gb video card, I don't remember the rest because it has been a long time since the last time I opened it) has been having so many problems like CMOS issues, Video/Graphics Card problems, and battery.. In the end, when I tried to boot it, I only get beep codes. (4 then 6). So I ended up giving up on it.

2. The HP Pavilion dv3 Notebook (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, 4gb RAM, 150gb ROM, 2gb video card) recently was unable to start. I turn it on, "Starting Windows", then the "Welcome" screen and it won't show the desktop. I even tried to open it in safe mode, I was able to see the desktop, then I tried System Restore since I just reinstalled NBA 2k14. But still, "Welcome" and that's all I see when I start it normally.

3. So I ended up deciding to swap the hard drives of the two. I'm now using the HP since the Dell laptop's video card is busted. And now my operating system is Windows 10. At first I thought I did a very good job since I never really expected exchanging the hard drives to work. But now, when I play videos, LAG. When I open games, SUPER LAG. Then now everything is LAG. I even updated some drivers like the graphics driver but still.. So.. What should I do? I really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
