2 HDDs no longer recognized in BIOS

I recently had to replace a failed power supply. Everything else was, to my knowledge, functioning properly before the power supply died. After I put in the new supply, my motherboard only detects my 2 stripped RAID SSDs and not my 2 independent HDDs. I've tried switching the power cables, SATA cables, and SATA slots. I've also tried plugging one of the disks to another laptop with an external enclosure. There doesn't seem to be any spinning or activity by the disk.

It's probably worth mentioning that both the old and the new PSUs are modular. I tried plugging in the old SATA power cables in to the new PSU (to save time... yeah, I have a lot of devices/fans plugged in and have cable routing so it's a little complex) and when that didn't work, I swapped to the new SATA power cables and my rig powered up. Now, there were other devices plugged in to those cables when I tried powering on, including my SSDs, but only my HDDs seem to be affected.

This goes without saying, but those drives represent 2 decades of my life, I could barely summon the will to roll out of bed :peur:

Solution
Pending other responses and possible solutions I will suggest, as an immediate response that you do some backups.

Verify that the data was saved and remains readable; "2 decades of my life" is a lot to lose.

Actually make a couple of backups and store in different locations.
