hi, im sorry to be asking what i think it may be a basic question but do please enlighten me :)

So i have 2 sticks of the g.skill sniper 2x4gb ddr3 1600 and decided that i wanted more ram, i went online and found a really sweet deal for another 2 sticks used ripjaws (not x) 2x4gb that shared most of the stats ( being 1600hz, same cl9, ) but where from different series and while mine had a 1.25v (according to cpu-z they are running at 1.2v) the new ones are 1.5v, i tried going to the bios to change the value of the voltage and failed miserably, so i wanted to ask how should i do it and if i really should do it.

MB: asus z87-a

new ones https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl9d-8gbrl

Thank you giving some of your time to me!

Solution
The two different types of kits may not work well together

Just the Voltage in itself makes things difficult

You manually set DRAM Voltage to 1.45V or 1.50V to see if they can boot together, but if not then they may not be able to work together at all.
