I have the opportunity of upgrading to fibre optic 1000M or 1G internet. I have 2 TP link devices. 1 is cheaper than the other. What is the difference.

TP-Link 1000Mbps Powerline Kit & Wi-Fi Range Extender
£69.99

TP-Link PA7010 Kit 1GB Ethernet Powerline
£39.99

My wireless router has wi fi anyway.

Solution
The more expensive model in effect is a pair of powerline units with a built in wifi AP connected on the far end. Pretty much you are paying for the WIFI chips, it is still much cheaper than using a pair of powerline units and then attaching a router/ap to remote end.

You would use it if you had poor wifi coverage from the router at the remote location.
