I am upgrading my current pre-built omen PC and I'm getting a new Motherboard and CPU. I will be switching form Intel to AMD and I know i need to buy windows again. I plan to keep my HDD so what do i need to do to prepare it for the upgrade? Thanks for the help!

you don't need to buy windows again if it's MSDN . i too switched from intel to AMD , this is my 3rd setup and i'm keeping the same windows key , hope you are not a microsoft agent though .

MSDN? Its an OEM version of windows 10 from a prebuilt PC so I though you cant switch them? Didnt mean to down vote your answer.
