I just upgraded my GTX 950 to an RX580 and now I'm having a hard time getting any game to start. R6 Siege won't get past the game loading screen, GTA V will play for a second then crash, and Counter Strike will work but freeze the system if I try to go to a different application. With R6 when it crashes, my entire system freezes, when GTA crashes it closes the application. However GPU benchmarks, like fur mark, run fine. I'm not sure what is causing this as I was able to run these games previously on my 950. I've made sure to update my drivers and I'm now 18.7.1 for the AMD drivers Any help or ideas on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Did you completely remove the nvidia drivers ??

Do you have afterburner installed & if so have you ever overclocked with it ?

If so uninstall it , when I swapped cards afterburner. Kept the old core clock, settings & was overclocking my new gpu automatically to dangerously ustable clock speeds.

I didn't uninstall the drivers or afterburner, but I didn't overclock. i will look into removing those and then see how it goes.

I've removed the Nvidia drivers and the MSi software that came with the card and I'm still having the same issues as before, any other ideas?
