I currently have my cpu water cooled and the fan speeds are controlled by asus ai suite so as it heats up the fans ramp up a little. My issue is i am going to be water cooling my gpu also on a seperate loop and in the asus software there is no option for the fan headers be be controlled by gpu temp that i am aware of. Also if the only way is using some other software how do i know that the fans are responding to that software and not the asus ai suite or bios

Are you using a AIO for the GPU cooler? My GPU is water cooled and the radiator fan is not a PMW fan. The fan runs at the same speed. I fan curve for the turbine that cools the VRMs is set at 50%.

You really don't need the fans to ramp up on the GPU as it will stay below 50C under heavy load. With temps that low, there is really no benefit from the dropping another degree or two as the thermal barrier has been completely removed.

no it will be a custom loop. The problem is I do not want to just have them on 50% all the time, I want it so that when the card is not being used and im not gaming I want the fans to slow down/stop so that the pc is quiet. The problem is in the asus ai software there is only options for mobo/cpu/vrm/pch/external sensor as a source and not gpu temp. Also if I was to use other software to do it how do i know that it is the other software controlling my fan headers and not the asus software. I cannot dissable or uninstall this software either because it is used for my overclock
