Installed a HDD for storage and lost my second SSD.

As soon as I booted Windows the SSD was gone. Its not my boot drive SSD, just one I used for games and other media. In the BIOS it shows the SATA port as not present. I switched all the cables around trying different ports and power ports but none of them change anything. The HDD shows and the old boot SSD still show. In windows under device manager it shows as disk 1 not initialized but when I try to initialize it, I get an error saying there isn't enough space. Is the SSD dead? All I did was plug in a new HDD. IF anyone can help me I would appreciate it, i'm bummed out and have a fever on top of it.

I have tried every sata port and power cable. The other two drives work fine. Its annoying if it shit the bed on me but if I have to get another one I will. But I find it hard to believe it just crapped out when I hooked another HDD in.

Do you think resetting the BIOS will do anything if the other drives are found with no problem?. The reason I ask is I don't want to make more work for myself if it doesn't work.

no unfortunately I don't. I'm just laughing to myself, I bought this HDD on a whim when I really didnt need it and I would do anything to go back in time and slap myself. What a nightmare, but I guess it can always be worse. It was my TB SSD that took the bullet for this crappy HDD. I'm just wishing it was my 4 year old 250GB one.
