Hi,
I am a newbie to networking and was wondering whether I can connect my Dlink DIR 825 wireless router to an existing wireless router (Asus AC-RT51U) such that the Dlink router functions as an access point. Both routers are dual band.

P.S: I don't want to connect the two routers with an ethernet cable.

Solution
You could use a couple of homeplug/powerline adapters to connect them together. Connect the network cable going to the DLink to one of the LAN ports and disable DHCP in the router settings. That should do want you want.
