I've been gaming on a 1050ti that i got in the regular ironside fiend pc, but i was looking into buying a 1070 and 650 watt psu but i wasnt sure if you could upgrade it since it was pre built. Im assuming you can but it would void warranty but i dont have one anyways

Solution
If your Fiend uses the same Phanteks P400 case currently shown on their site for the Fiend series, it will easily fit both the 1070 and pretty much any 650w PSU. Keep in mind a 1070 really only requires 500w total system power though, as does a 1070 Ti. https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/power-requirements-for-graphics-cards-20

The Phanteks P400 will literally fit up to a 395mm long GPU. That's over 15"! Most 1070s are only 10.5" long, including perhaps the one with best bang for buck, the EVGA 1070 Ti SC.

This is a very good place to buy from. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1282023-REG/evga_08g_p4_5173_kr_geforce_gtx_1070_8gb.html For only $20 more though, this is a much better deal. It's only a few percent...

It's only a few percent less powerful than a 1080! https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1369701-REG/evga_08g_p4_5671_kr_geforce_gtx_1070_ti.html

The PSU bay fits up to a 270mm long PSU (including cables). That's well over 10"!

Phanteks don't mess around, that thing will also fit a 360 rad or 280 rad. The only thing I really don't like about Ironside's desktop choices is they give you very limited component options.
